As we watch the hostages come home while too many remain in captivity – their status unknown; as we face so many challenges here in the United States; as we watch people in California struggle to rebuild their lives, we struggle with our own emotions. It feels like we are surrounded by despair. But, Judaism gives us reason to hope. I talked about this and more in this video which captures my sermon from 24 January 2025.
