Dear Ramat Shalom Teens and Adults,
We all know the recent tragedy that our community, as well as the rest of country, is dealing with. We, Bradley Fine and Sean Harkins – Co-Presidents of Ramat Shalom iServe Teen Program, believe it’s time that our Ramat Shalom community rises up, raises our voice and makes the changes that our country needs.
We would like for all of you to join us on March 24, 2018 from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM for the March for Our Lives. The event is happening in Parkland, Florida at Pines Trail Park. Thanks to the generosity of one of member families, we have a bus that will be taking us from Ramat Shalom to Parkland – or you can meet us there. The bus is at capacity, if you would like to put your name on a waiting list as we are trying to secure a second bus, please call Diane at 954-472-3600 or email her at ramatshalom@ramatshalom.org.
Let’s make sure that the recent tragedy is the last tragedy that this community will have to deal with. Let’s make sure that this is the generation that makes a difference. Let’s make sure that we don’t minimize our voices and show that we can make a change . Please help us come together as a community and join us for this historic event.
On behalf of Rabbi Andrew and Cantor Debbie, we wish you all a Shabbat Shalom.
Thank you for your support.
Bradley Fine and Sean Harkins
