Yes, I’m tired of Zoom services, online classes and virtual programs. I desperately miss praying, learning and engaging in person with my community. This being said, the ability to lead online Friday night #Shabbat services in my backyard on a beautiful #southflorida night like tonight is pretty awesome. Wishing all a #shabbatshalom ✡️❤️ #staysafe
It’s #Purim 😀😀😀 Feeling the burn today which isn’t a good thing when you’re #olaf the snowman in #southflorida ☀️ You can probably figure out which was my kid costume and which was my grown-up costume 🤣 #happypurim
Avery, after taking a short hiatus from indoor services due to the pandemic, we got to return to our sanctuary to celebrate YOU this morning! As you became a #batmizvah you lifted us all higher ✨✡️ ✨It took a lot of courage to stand before the #torah and lead your congregation, but you did it with so much confidence. Keep sharing your light - the world needs it. #mazaltov
A soul journeys from above to enter a human body forming in its mother’s womb. When it begins this journey, the soul is made up of two distinct parts, parts that are capable of surviving on their own. In the moments before the soul enters the little, growing body in the womb, God separates the two distinct parts. One enters the body in one womb while the other enters the body in another womb. These bodies, now energized with souls, are soon birthed by their mothers. They enter this world with great energy and zest. At some point along the way, with the help of God, the mystical power of the universe, the souls discover that they are missing their other half. They are incomplete. And so, they seek the part of themselves that will make them whole. If the souls listen carefully to the energy of the world around them, they will be led to each other and united. The journey back to wholeness is not always simple and easy. But, when the two halves of the soul are reunited, the incredible sparks of love fly.  (Based on Zohar 1:85b) ✨❤️✨ The concepts of romantic love and soulmates, the belief that there is one special person who makes your heart race like nobody else, are integral parts of our tradition. In Yiddish, our soulmate is our bashert. No, Valentine’s Day is not a Jewish holiday. This being said, it’s very Jewish to celebrate your bashert! ✨❤️✨ Love you my bashert - @findyourish 😍 (Thank you Steven at @centerstage_ent for the pic!!!)
About to hop on a Zoom meeting. Someone else decided to hop on the dinning room table and take a nap 😴 #mansbestfriend
I call this one: “Rabbi in Gazebo Getting Ready for Wedding.” Blessed to have celebrated #love with another amazing couple, their family and friends. ❤️ #mazaltov #wedidit
